About Me
The first time I was involved in a fundraiser for a school was at my daughter’s preschool eleven years ago. Parents were required to volunteer in some capacity in the school’s contract. My first job was to be in charge of the bake sale at the Spring Fair. It turned out to be more work and more fun than I expected it to be! We also managed to raise about $800 by being creative about what we sold – not just baked goods, but frozen casseroles and elaborate cakes too.
When my daughter moved on to elementary and then middle school, I found myself volunteering (or being volunteered) for more fundraisers. Silent Auctions, Raffles, School Fairs, Candy Sales just to name a few!
I created this website to try to share my ideas and experiences with other parents that want to help out their schools fundraising efforts.
